Companion or working partner
Describe the life you want to share with your dog. A family companion and a dog selected for demanding work may need different routines.
English and American labels
These labels describe commonly discussed types and breeding lines, rather than a promise about an individual puppy. Ask about the parents and their everyday behaviour.
Male, female and colour
Share your preferences, but keep temperament and lifestyle central. Yellow, black or chocolate colour does not tell you how a puppy will behave.
Choosing a temperament
Tell the breeder about children, existing pets, experience and activity. Ask what they have observed as the litter develops; a very young puppy’s future personality is not fixed.
Questions to ask about a yellow Labrador puppy
LabraFamily raises yellow Labradors. Tell us which preferences are essential and which are flexible: sex, timing and the kind of family life you can offer. Ask to see photographs of the parents and to discuss the litter’s development rather than choosing from coat shade alone.
A photograph is a lovely introduction, but a conversation gives your choice context. If you have a cat, a young child or an older dog, share that information early so we can discuss introductions and the routine at home.
