Is a Labrador right for you? Take the questionnaire →A COMPANION FOR LIFE
A Labrador by your side. A lifetime of shared moments.
The happy welcome when you come home, a walk that becomes your favourite part of the day, a curious companion discovering the world beside you: bringing home a Labrador puppy is the beginning of a new story.
At LabraFamily in Gatineau, Québec, our dogs are part of family life. We raise yellow Labrador Retrievers and take the time to talk about your household, your expectations and the puppy you are looking for.
Why choose a Labrador Retriever?
Affectionate, playful and enthusiastic, Labradors enjoy being involved in everyday life. They can be wonderful companions for families who can provide daily exercise, training and attention. Introductions to children and other pets should be gradual and supervised.
A thoughtful start for your puppy
Our puppies grow up in our home, with human contact and opportunities to discover everyday experiences. Our breeding dogs are DNA tested. Ask for the available results for the parents of your chosen litter, CKC registration information and the written reservation terms.
Prepare for life with a Labrador
A Labrador needs walks, play and patient learning. The short coat sheds, so regular brushing belongs in your routine too. Our Labrador buyer’s guide, puppy care and training advice help you plan your puppy’s first weeks.
